§ 01QUICK DECISION

A quick read on whether this fits.

BEST FOR
  • You need Los Angeles car service but have not chosen between airport transfer, black car, hourly chauffeur, executive car, limo / event, Sprinter, or private aviation service.
  • You want a quote that explains vehicle class, pickup location, wait policy, toll / fee treatment, and destination routing before assignment.
  • You need one coordinator for LAX, Hollywood Burbank, Van Nuys, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Malibu, Orange County, or regional Southern California movement.
NOT FOR
  • A lowest-cost on-demand ride needed within the next few minutes.
  • A traveler who wants to self-drive and compare rental cars.
  • A public-transit-only trip where FlyAway, Metro, or rail is clearly the preferred answer.
TIMING

Same-day requests are accepted when operator availability allows; 24–48 hours is cleaner for airport transfers, and 7–14 days is safer for awards season, major concerts, premieres, event weekends, or Sprinter groups.

SERVICE AREA

LAX, Hollywood Burbank, John Wayne, Van Nuys, Long Beach, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu, Downtown LA, Pasadena, Hollywood, Newport Beach, Anaheim, Palm Springs, and regional Southern California transfers.

§ 12HOW THIS COMPARES

Which Los Angeles car service should you request?

Los Angeles black car service

Pricing
Point-to-point sedan or SUV quote with pickup, route, vehicle class, and pass-through cost treatment disclosed.
Best for
LAX-to-hotel transfers, Beverly Hills and Westside business moves, private residences, studio lots, and regional one-way transfers.
Weakness
Less efficient than hourly chauffeur service when the schedule has multiple stops or uncertain timing.

Los Angeles chauffeur service

Pricing
Hourly quote with minimum, duty window, stop list, wait / release plan, and overage terms.
Best for
Meetings, property tours, roadshows, studio days, medical appointments, awards-week schedules, and multi-stop city movement.
Weakness
Usually unnecessary for one clean airport transfer or one point-to-point hotel run.

Los Angeles executive car service

Pricing
Corporate quote structure for assistant-managed schedules, private aviation, roadshows, billing needs, and passenger coordination.
Best for
Executive assistants, travel managers, C-suite movement, FBO arrivals, roadshows, and recurring corporate travel.
Weakness
Overbuilt for a one-off personal airport trip with no billing or privacy needs.

Los Angeles limo / event service

Pricing
Event or hourly quote based on vehicle style, date, timeline, pickup / release plan, passenger count, and venue staging.
Best for
Weddings, proms, galas, awards events, premieres, birthdays, nightlife, and presentation-focused arrivals.
Weakness
Not always the best fit for luggage-heavy LAX arrivals or discreet corporate movement.

Los Angeles Sprinter van service

Pricing
Group quote by passenger count, luggage and gear volume, vehicle layout, hourly hold, and return requirements.
Best for
6–14 passengers, corporate teams, production crews, wedding parties, airport groups, and event shuttles.
Weakness
Too large for solo or two-passenger transfers; two SUVs may stage better for split pickups or heavy luggage.
§ 02RATE EXAMPLES

Los Angeles car service rate examples by service type

These are operator-network planning ranges, not published tariffs. Final quotes depend on route, vehicle class, airport or FBO pickup point, wait time, stops, event date, parking and staging, tolls, and operator availability.

LAX → Beverly Hills / West Hollywood

Sedan
$140–$190
SUV
$180–$260
Sprinter
Quote required
Hourly
Notes

Best for LAX arrivals continuing to Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Rodeo Drive hotels, or Sunset / WeHo residences. LAX terminal pickup plan matters because premium car service can stage in the Central Terminal Area outer curb on the first level outside baggage claim rather than LAX-it.

LAX → Santa Monica / Brentwood / Pacific Palisades

Sedan
$110–$160
SUV
$150–$220
Sprinter
Quote required
Hourly
Notes

Shorter Westside routing, but Sepulveda, Lincoln, the 405, and beach-city traffic can shift the quote window. Hotels along Ocean Avenue and residences north of Wilshire each shape the curb plan.

LAX → Downtown Los Angeles / Arts District

Sedan
$150–$220
SUV
$200–$300
Sprinter
Quote required
Hourly
Notes

Downtown routing depends on 105 / 110 / 10 conditions, event timing, hotel or venue entrance, and whether the trip uses private car service or FlyAway / Union Station instead. Lakers, Clippers, Kings, and concert nights at Crypto.com Arena tighten the corridor.

Hollywood Burbank Airport → Hollywood / Beverly Hills / Westside

Sedan
$115–$180
SUV
$150–$240
Sprinter
Quote required
Hourly
Notes

BUR can be cleaner than LAX for Hollywood, Studio City, Universal City, and San Fernando Valley itineraries. Rideshare pickups use the ground transportation island across from Terminal B; pre-arranged car service follows the same curb structure with active enforcement.

Van Nuys Airport FBO → Beverly Hills / Westside

Sedan
$130–$200
SUV
$175–$275
Sprinter
Quote required
Hourly
Notes

Private aviation quote should confirm FBO, tail number, passenger-ready trigger, vehicle class, lounge / canopy / ramp handoff, and wait / release plan. Clay Lacy publishes a Van Nuys FBO at 7435 Valjean Avenue with 24/7 hours.

John Wayne Airport → Newport Beach / Laguna / Irvine

Sedan
$110–$185
SUV
$150–$250
Sprinter
Quote required
Hourly
Notes

SNA pickup rules differ from LAX. App-based rideshares use the upper levels of parking structures A2 and B2 and the Terminal C parking structure on the upper level next to ticketing.

Long Beach Airport → Downtown LA / South Bay / Orange County

Sedan
$130–$230
SUV
$175–$300
Sprinter
Quote required
Hourly
Notes

Long Beach Airport says taxis pick up outside the terminal next to Parking Structure A and rideshare uses the outer curb in front of the terminal. Pre-arranged car service should still quote by destination, vehicle, luggage, and wait policy.

Hourly Los Angeles chauffeur (as-directed)

Sedan
$125–$190 / hr
SUV
$160–$240 / hr
Sprinter
$225–$350 / hr
Hourly
Typical 3–4 hour minimum on sedan and SUV; longer minimums on Sprinter and event vehicles
Notes

Use hourly when the vehicle remains attached to meetings, production days, studio lots, property showings, awards-week events, or multi-stop schedules. Quote states duty window, stop list, overage policy, and wait / release plan.

Los Angeles Sprinter group service

Sedan
SUV
Sprinter
$225–$350 / hr or flat route quote
Hourly
Notes

Use for 6–14 passengers, corporate teams, production crews, wedding parties, airport groups, and event shuttles. Group quote is built by passenger count, luggage / gear volume, vehicle layout, hourly hold, and return requirements.

Los Angeles → Malibu / Santa Barbara / Palm Springs / San Diego

Sedan
Quote required
SUV
Quote required
Sprinter
Quote required
Hourly
Notes

Regional transfers should be quoted by corridor (PCH, 101, 10, 14, 5), luggage, vehicle class, wait / release plan, and return requirements. Many programs leave the SUV or Sprinter at destination overnight to skip the return leg.

§ 05HOW WE EARN THE TRIP

How Los Angeles rides are verified

Artisan Chauffeur & Concierge is a ground transportation coordinator. Los Angeles rides are arranged through vetted licensed local operators, and the assigned operator, vehicle class, pickup plan, wait policy, pass-through cost treatment, and cancellation terms are confirmed by email before the ride is arranged.

LICENSING

California Public Utilities Commission

California charter-party carrier service is prearranged passenger transportation under CPUC authority. Charter-Party Carriers (TCPs) charter vehicles for the exclusive use of an individual or group, with charges based on mileage, time, or a combination.[CPUC — Charter Party Carriers] · [CPUC — Passenger Carrier FAQs]

VERIFY YOURSELF
  1. Confirm the assigned operator and CPUC TCP details where applicable before pickup
  2. Confirm vehicle class, passenger count, luggage fit, and pickup handoff before assignment
  3. Confirm airport, FBO, hotel, venue, or residence pickup instructions by email
  4. Confirm wait policy, pass-through cost treatment, and cancellation terms before the ride is arranged
OPERATOR VETTING
  • Operator licensing posture confirmed for the route and vehicle class
  • Airport pickup plan matched to LAX, BUR, SNA, LGB, or VNY rules rather than a generic address pin
  • FBO handoffs confirm exact facility, tail number, lounge / canopy / ramp expectation, and passenger-ready trigger
  • Vehicle class selected by passenger count, bags, equipment, route, and event or staging reality
  • Wait policy, pass-through cost treatment, cancellation window, and day-of contact path stated before assignment
§ 07THE SERVICE · ANSWERED DIRECTLY

A car, pre-arranged.
Confirmed by email.

Artisan Chauffeur & Concierge is a ground transportation concierge. Every New York ride is booked through a vetted, licensed local operator and confirmed before dispatch — vehicle class, terminal or FBO, tunnel choice, congestion-zone treatment, complimentary wait window, and toll pass-through, all named in the quote.

What separates pre-arranged service from a yellow taxi or a rideshare app is operational control on a market that punishes improvisation. The right entrance, the right tunnel, the right FBO side — held together by one concierge, not assembled live at the curb.

One commercial footprint · One standard
What the email confirmation names
  • 01

Vehicle and operator, by tail or terminal

Sedan, SUV, or executive Sprinter — the licensed local operator and the assigned chauffeur are confirmed before the day of travel.

  • 02

    Routing, tunnel, and congestion zone

Lincoln, Holland, or GW Bridge; FDR or West Side Highway when the route can stay outside the MTA Congestion Relief Zone south of 60th.

  • 03

    Curb, terminal, and meet-and-greet protocol

JFK Terminal 4 inside arrivals; LGA Terminal B Level-2 garage; EWR Terminal A digital curb directory; TEB FBO side by tail number.

  • 04

    Wait window and disclosed pass-throughs

Sixty minutes complimentary on international arrivals, thirty on domestic. Tolls and the CRZ pass-through itemized as line items before confirmation.

Pre-arranged car service wins on the trips where Manhattan and its airports specifically punish improvisation — the terminal, the tunnel, the door, the FBO side, and the congestion-zone routing matter more than the per-mile rate.

LGA

LaGuardiaTerminal B requires the Parking Garage Level-2 for-hire bay; meeting drivers may not wait in a vehicle at any arrivals-level curb.

EWR

Newark LibertyTerminal A's digital arrivals-curb directory updates in real time; static door-number instructions go stale within weeks.

TEB

TeterboroSignature operates East, South, and West as three distinct dispatch addresses; chauffeurs are assigned by tail number, not by name.

HPN

Long Beach Airport

Long Beach Airport says taxis pick up outside the terminal next to Parking Structure A and that app-based transportation network companies are on the outer curb in front of the terminal. Pre-arranged car service follows the curb outside the terminal with active enforcement; the chauffeur stages in short-term parking or cell-phone parking, then pulls forward when the passenger has bags in hand. Long Beach is often the right airport for South Bay, Long Beach proper, Disneyland and Anaheim, and Orange County coastal routes because it sidesteps both the LAX and SNA terminal loops.

Wait time, flight tracking, and operator selection are confirmed in writing before any car is dispatched.

§ 10AREAS WE SERVE

Across Los Angeles block by block.

Each neighborhood reads on a different rhythm — a different curb, a different door, a different time the avenues seize. The notes below are written from the trips actually arranged here, not from a guidebook.

01

Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills is a hotel, residence, retail, and private-event market. Quotes should confirm the hotel entrance, Rodeo Drive and Golden Triangle routing, residence gate or valet protocol, vehicle class, and event timing rather than treating the pickup as a generic address. The Beverly Hills Hotel, the Peninsula, the Beverly Wilshire, the L'Ermitage, and the residential blocks around Sunset and Coldwater each have their own preferred entrances and curb rules.

02

West Hollywood

West Hollywood trips often involve hotel pickups, nightlife, award-week parties, Sunset Strip venues, and short-distance moves where curb timing can be harder than mileage. The Sunset Tower, the Edition, the London, the Mondrian, and Sunset Strip nightlife venues each shape a different pickup window. A point-to-point quote should still confirm exact entrance and wait policy, especially during award season and peak weekend windows.

03

Santa Monica

Santa Monica is a Westside airport and coastal-transfer market. LAX can be close by mileage but variable by Sepulveda, Lincoln, the 405, and beach-city traffic. The Fairmont Miramar, the Casa del Mar, Shutters on the Beach, the Proper, and the Pier-adjacent residence blocks shape pickup decisions; vehicle fit matters for families, luggage, beach gear, and hotel arrivals where SUV interior space is more useful than sedan headroom.

04

Malibu

Malibu service is route- and property-specific. PCH timing, canyon access, private residences, beach clubs, weddings, and event windows can change the quote more than mileage alone. Nobu Malibu, Soho House, the Calamigos Beach Club, the Ranch at Malibu, and weddings at private estates along PCH or up Latigo, Kanan, and Las Flores Canyon all shape the run. Many programs leave the Sprinter or SUV in Malibu overnight to skip the return leg.

05

Downtown Los Angeles

Downtown LA ties together hotel arrivals at the Conrad, the Intercontinental, the Ritz-Carlton, and the Proper, plus Crypto.com Arena, LA Live, the Arts District, courthouses, corporate towers, and Union Station and FlyAway access. Quotes should confirm building entrance, event timing, and parking and staging reality. Lakers, Clippers, Kings, and concert nights at Crypto.com Arena pinch the corridor from the 110 through Figueroa for two-to-three hours around tip-off and curtain.

06

Hollywood / Studio City / Burbank

This corridor often favors Burbank Airport over LAX and includes Warner Bros, Universal Studios, Paramount, Disney, the Hollywood Bowl, hotel pickups at the Roosevelt and the Edition Hollywood, and production days that move between studio lots, private residences, and post houses. Hourly chauffeur or executive service is often stronger than separate point-to-point rides because the schedule shifts and the vehicle stays attached.

07

Orange County

Orange County service should distinguish SNA, LAX, LGB, and private aviation routing. Newport Beach, Laguna, Irvine, and South Coast Plaza trips often need SUV or executive service rather than a generic LA sedan quote because of luggage, distance, and golf or event gear. The Resort at Pelican Hill, the Balboa Bay Resort, the Lido House, the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, and the Montage Laguna Beach are typical anchors.

One concierge across every district

Artisan Chauffeur & Concierge arranges through licensed local operators in each district. The same coordinator who books the airport pickup stays with the itinerary through every neighborhood it touches.

§ 11WHO WE COORDINATE FOR

One concierge, every kind of itinerary.

The bookings we coordinate in Los Angeles

The chassis is the same: one named coordinator, vetted licensed local operators, an email confirmation that names the curb, the tunnel, and the wait window. What changes is the rhythm of the week, the scrutiny on the receipt, and the question the rider is about to be asked at the door.

§ 13HOW BOOKING WORKS

How Los Angeles car service is arranged

  1. 01

    Send the itinerary

Share pickup, drop-off, date, time, airport or FBO details if applicable, passenger count, luggage count, vehicle preference, and whether the trip is point-to-point, hourly, event, or group transportation.

  2. 02

We identify the right service structure

The request is routed as airport transfer, black car, hourly chauffeur, executive travel, limo / event service, Sprinter group movement, private aviation ground transport, or a regional transfer. The buyer never has to pre-classify the request.

  3. 03

    You receive a quote

The quote states vehicle class, pickup plan, included wait window, toll / parking / staging or pass-through cost treatment, gratuity handling, cancellation terms, and day-of contact path. No instant-book module; quote terms are stated before confirmation.

  4. 04

    The operator plan is confirmed

The assigned licensed local operator, pickup instructions, vehicle class, and airport, FBO, or venue handoff are confirmed before the ride is arranged. CPUC TCP details can be provided where applicable.

  5. 05

Day-of changes are handled through the coordinator

Flight delays, tail-number timing, venue staging, stop-list changes, or return adjustments are coordinated through the same Artisan Chauffeur & Concierge contact rather than a re-dispatch app loop.

§ 14POLICIES

Los Angeles car service policies

WAIT TIME
The quote states the included wait window and how additional waiting time is billed. Airport, FBO, hotel, venue, and hourly schedules may use different wait structures, and the exact terms are stated before the ride is arranged.
CANCELLATION
The cancellation window is disclosed before confirmation and may vary by vehicle class, operator, event date, airport or FBO timing, and regional itinerary.
GRATUITY
The quote states whether gratuity is included, discretionary, or billed separately so the receipt and quote can be reconciled.
TOLLS · SURCHARGES
The quote states how tolls, airport access fees, parking, staging, venue fees, and other pass-through costs are handled before the ride is arranged.
EXTRA STOPS
Extra stops, route changes, and extended holds should be listed before confirmation when possible; day-of changes may affect the final bill according to the quote terms.
§ 03REQUEST A QUOTE

We review every quote by hand. Send the trip details and we send a quote by email after concierge review.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Use airport car service when the trip is one pickup and one drop-off tied to a flight. Use hourly chauffeur service if the vehicle needs to stay with you after the airport for meetings, studio days, awards-week events, or property tours. Use Sprinter service if the group has six or more passengers or substantial luggage. The right structure depends on whether the day has multiple stops, how much luggage the group carries, and whether the schedule shifts after arrival; the quote confirms vehicle class, pickup plan, and wait policy before the ride is arranged.

LAX says limousines, town cars, private vehicles, executive car services, Uber Black, Uber SUV, Lyft Black, Lyft Lux, and similar premium ride-app cars can pick up in the Central Terminal Area at the outer curb on the first level outside baggage claim. Taxis and standard ride-app pickups use LAX-it. The chauffeur stages in the LAX cell-phone lot until the passenger has bags in hand, then dispatches to the terminal-specific Central Terminal Area curb rather than the LAX-it shuttle stop.

FlyAway can be a strong public-transit option for Union Station or Van Nuys. The official LAX FlyAway page lists a one-way fare of $12.75 with service operating 365 days a year and boarding at LAX on the lower / arrivals level at the blue FlyAway signs. Private car service is stronger for luggage, hotel and residence handoffs, business travel, groups, multi-stop schedules, or destinations that are not near a FlyAway endpoint. The trade-off is fare versus door-to-door routing.

It depends on the destination. Burbank is often cleaner for Hollywood, Universal City, Studio City, and the Valley because it skips both the 405 sweep across the Westside and the LAX terminal loop. LAX is stronger for international flights, Westside destinations, and many long-haul itineraries because of carrier coverage and the international arrivals hall at TBIT. The right airport is sometimes the one closer to the schedule, not the one closer to the address.

Yes. Van Nuys trips are quoted by FBO, tail number, passenger-ready trigger, vehicle class, ramp / lounge / canopy handoff, and wait / release plan. Clay Lacy publishes a Van Nuys FBO at 7435 Valjean Avenue with 24/7 hours, and FlightBridge lists Van Nuys FBOs including Castle & Cooke, Clay Lacy, Jet Aviation, Signature East, Signature West, and Sun Air Jets. The chauffeur is dispatched against the tail number, holds at the FBO canopy on the assigned side, and the pickup clock anchors to ramp release rather than wheels-down.

Use a sedan for one to three light travelers and an airport transfer with limited luggage. Use an SUV for families, luggage, golf or ski equipment, and Westside or regional transfers. Use an executive Sprinter for VIP groups, production teams, studio visits, awards-week movement, and private aviation groups. Use a passenger Sprinter for larger groups, wedding parties, production crews, and airport groups where shared cabin space matters more than presentation. The vehicle fit on the quote names passenger and bag counts before assignment.

Hourly chauffeur service is better when the vehicle stays with you for meetings, studio visits, property tours, events, or changing schedules. Black car service is better for one clean pickup and one clean drop-off, such as an airport transfer, a hotel arrival, or a one-way regional trip. Hourly is also the right structure for awards-week schedules, multi-stop dinner programs, and production days where timing shifts and the principal cannot afford a re-dispatch wait.

Yes. Regional trips are quoted by route, vehicle class, passenger and luggage fit, wait / release plan, return trip, and date demand. Manhattan-style city transfers are not the same as regional Southern California routes, where the corridor (5, 10, 101, 405, 110, 14, 73, 91, PCH) and the date (peak weekend, holiday, festival) shape the quote more than mileage alone. Many programs leave the SUV or Sprinter at destination overnight to skip the return leg.

As of April 2026, NBC Los Angeles reported that the LAX SkyLink Automated People Mover had begun test runs without passengers on the 2.25-mile system. Treat pickup rules as current LAX rules — taxis and standard rideshare at LAX-it, limousines and premium private-car services in the Central Terminal Area at the outer curb on the first level outside baggage claim — until LAX publishes an operational passenger change.

Send standard airport and point-to-point requests 24–48 hours ahead when possible. For Sprinters, event weeks, awards season, private aviation, major venue nights, and regional trips to Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, or San Diego, 7–14 days gives more time to secure the right vehicle and operator. Same-day requests are accepted when operator availability allows; the lead time on awards-week sedans, SUVs, and Sprinters tightens fastest.
