The vetting gate
every operator clears.

Every operator in the Artisan Chauffeur & Concierge network clears the same vetting gate before assignment — coverage documentation, licensing, vehicle quality, and professional conduct. The same standard applies in every market.

§ 01THE VETTING PROCESS · BEFORE A FIRST DISPATCH

Vetting is the gate — not the marketing.

Before any operator joins the Artisan Chauffeur & Concierge network, they undergo a comprehensive vetting process that evaluates every aspect of the business — from licensing documentation, to vehicle condition, to chauffeur professionalism on the ground.

We verify operator compliance documents, confirm DOT, TCP, and local authority where applicable, and conduct structured reviews of safety records, complaint history, and client feedback. No operator is listed before the file is closed.

Vetting is not a one-time event. Every operator is re-evaluated on a rolling schedule, and performance is tracked on every ride. Operators that fall below standard are rotated out of the network.

§ 02SIX REQUIREMENTS

What every operator has to meet.

Coverage documentation

Operators provide current coverage documentation aligned to the requirements of their jurisdiction. The file is reviewed before assignment and during periodic updates.

Background checks

Operators are required to conduct comprehensive screening of their chauffeurs, including criminal history, motor vehicle records, and drug testing.

Licensing and authority

Every operator holds the full licensing stack for their market — TLC, DOT, TCP, PSC, or local equivalent — plus any permits required to touch an airport ramp.

Vehicle standards

Executive sedans, SUVs, vans, and coaches are reviewed for age, condition, cleanliness, class fit, and equipment before being matched to the itinerary.

Professional conduct

Chauffeurs adhere to a written code of conduct covering appearance, punctuality, discretion, lobby etiquette, and the quiet handling of celebrity and principal travel.

Ongoing monitoring

Operators are evaluated through trip feedback, issue reports, periodic file review, and service history. Operators that fall below standard are rotated out.

§ 03 · BEGIN AN INQUIRY

Book against the standard.

Every quote is issued against the same vetting gate. Tell us the itinerary and a concierge sends a quote by email with the proposed operator, vehicle class, price, and the documented standard behind it.
